I am a PhD candidate (combined Master–PhD program, currently in my second year) in Geotechnical Engineering at the School of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, affiliated with the Institute of Rock Instability and Seismicity Research. The institute is led by Prof. Chun-an Tang (Cheung Kong Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education; Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China). My doctoral research is supervised by Prof. Shibin Tang (National Young Top-Notch Talent).

My work sits at the interface of rock mechanics and artificial intelligence, with a focus on turning noisy, multimodal field data into reliable engineering insight. I am particularly interested in:

  • Digital twin for underground/slope engineering — building geometry-, photometry- and physics-aware tunnel & rock-mass models from LiDAR, photogrammetry, and microseismic streams.
  • Diffusion models for engineering signals — using generative priors to denoise weak microseismic precursors, and to drive spatiotemporal early-warning of rockburst in deep hard-rock projects.
  • Vision-based slope deformation monitoring — flexible, large-area, low-cost, automated monitoring of high steep slopes and tunnel surrounding rock from commodity cameras.
  • Geological-hazard perception — landslide, rockfall and debris-flow detection on vehicle-borne / mobile platforms.

To date I have authored three first-author SCI papers in CAS Tier-1 / Tier-2 Top journals (Adv. Eng. Inform., IJRMMS, Bull. Eng. Geol. Environ. — cumulative IF 21.6), hold 5 granted invention patents as the student first inventor, and have 10+ additional published patents. I am a core technical contributor on 4 NSFC / national projects (≈ 3.37 M CNY total) and the sole technical lead on 2 industry-sponsored projects. I also serve as the doctoral student Party-branch secretary of our research institute.

I am actively looking for academic exchange and postdoctoral opportunities at strong groups working on AI for geo-engineering, computer vision for monitoring, or generative models for scientific signals. If our interests overlap, please get in touch.
